This site had origin from the need to organize data collected during all Antarctic expedition and to simplify database update with data which will be collected during next expeditions.

The part concerning site layout, links, maps and the database organization was made by Umberto Gentili (email : umberto.gentili@enea.it) using php.

Online charts concerning weather stations and atmospheric sounding data were made whit mathlab and access by Paolo Grigioni.

Access procedures to servers with php language and maintenance of users and backup, were realized by Antonio Iaccarino (email : antonio.iaccarino@enea.it).

The procedures concerning grib were made by Francesco Coppola.

The installation and maintenance of weather stations in Antartctica during all expeditions, as well as collection were made by Lorenzo Desilvestri, Paolo Grigioni, Umberto Gentili and Andrea Pellegrini.

Synoptic and aeronautical messages, as well as the meteorogical bulletins, are compiled by forecasters from the Italian air Force Meteorological Service and from ENAV (National Agency for Air Traffic Control)

Installation techniques and power supplies of instrumentation in antarctica have been projected by Lorenzo De silvestri

Acquisition, elaboration and storing of satellite images is made by Tiziano Bastianelli, Corrado Fragiacomo, Giuseppe Napoli, Flavio Parmiggiani, Salvatore Pecoraro, Luca Simonetti, Maurizio Steffè.
